Account Help
Forgot password
Forgot your password or can't get into your account? No worries - you can reset it yourself anytime. We recommend the web app (browser version) on a PC or laptop, since the process is easiest and clearest there.
Important: Do you sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook?
If you have been signing in with the Apple, Google, or Facebook button, you don't have a separate Gumb password. In that case, reset your password directly with Apple, Google, or Facebook - not through Gumb. Afterward, sign back in using the same button.
💻 Reset your password - web app (recommended)
The easiest way to reset your password is in the web app on a PC or laptop.
- Go to web.gumb.app
- Click "Forgot password" below the login field
- Enter your email address and confirm
- Open the email in your inbox - check your spam folder too
- Click the link in the email
- Set your new password and sign in

Note - password managers: If you use a password manager - e.g. iCloud Keychain (iPhone/Mac), Google Password Manager (Chrome/Android), or tools like 1Password - make sure no old password is auto-filled the first time you sign in after the reset. Use the eye icon in the password field to check what is actually being entered.
🍏 Reset your password - iOS (iPhone/iPad)
- Open the Gumb app
- Tap "Forgot password" below the login field
- Enter your email address and confirm
- Open the email in your inbox - check your spam folder too
- Tap the link in the email - it opens in your browser
- Set your new password
- Go back to the app and sign in with your new password

Tip: If the app doesn't respond after the reset or shows an error, uninstall the app, restart your iPhone, reinstall the app, and sign in fresh.
🤖 Reset your password - Android

- Enter your email address and confirm
- Open the email in your inbox - check your spam folder too
- Tap the link in the email - it opens in your browser

Can't sign in even with the correct password? Reset the app data
If you see the message "Wrong username or password" on Android even though your credentials are correct, the cause is usually local app data that is out of sync - for example an outdated cache or a saved old password. You can fix this in a few steps:
- Update the Gumb app in the Play Store - the latest version must be installed.
- Don't open the app yet.
- Long-press the Gumb app icon until the info symbol appears (see image below).
- Tap the info symbol.
- Scroll down to "Storage".
- Tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache" - both must show 0.
- Open the app and sign in again.

Tip: If you use a password manager, check the password using the eye icon. Saved old passwords are a common cause.
Reset link opens the login page instead of the password form?
This happens when your email app opens the link in its own internal browser. Solution - use Chrome:
- web.gumb.app/forgotpassword - type this directly into the Chrome address bar.
- Request a new reset there.
- Open the reset email > long-press the link > select "Copy link".
- Paste the copied link into Chrome and open it - don't tap it directly.
- The password form appears - set your new password.
Didn't receive an email?
- Check your inbox, spam, junk and promotions folders
- Make sure you entered the correct email address - the same one you used to register with Gumb
- With some providers, emails can occasionally be delayed by several hours - this is on the email provider's end, not Gumb's
- If nothing arrives after 24 hours, try the process once more or contact Support directly
