In short
Gumb is an app for political groups, local parties and chapters. Chairs plan board meetings, general meetings and regular get-togethers as events, members respond by the response deadline, and info stands, poster hanging or leafleting during a campaign become tasks right on the event. Chapters and working groups plan in their own group schedulers, position papers and minutes sit in the folder, and a poll event gives you a quick opinion poll.

FAQ: the app for political groups
How do I staff info stand shifts?
Create the info stand as an event and shifts such as “10 am to 12 pm” or “12 pm to 2 pm” as tasks. Members sign up themselves, and you see which shift is still open.
How do I hand out areas for poster hanging?
Create a task for every area and turn it on for the event. Members take an area themselves, or admins assign it.
Can I get a quick opinion from members?
Yes, with an event type called “Poll”. The answer options stand for the choices, and in the scheduler you see the result right away. It does not replace formal votes under your bylaws.
Can chapters plan separately?
Yes. Every chapter gets its own group scheduler, and group events are only visible to its members. Several independent communities come with the Premium plan.
Who sees our members' profiles?
Each member decides in their settings which admins see their profile, so political data stays in their hands.
How do I remind members of the general meeting?
You set up to two reminders per event. Gumb notifies in the app, by email and by push notification, even when the app is closed.
Where do I store position papers and minutes?
In the group's folder, which only that group sees, or under “General documents” for everyone. Files can be up to 50 MB each.
