In short
Gumb is an app for social organizations and NGOs. Coordinators plan recurring activities such as a community lunch, visiting service or driving service as events, volunteers sign up by the response deadline, and single tasks are handed out right on the event. Projects and sites plan in their own group schedulers, members decide themselves which admins see their profile, and partners without a Gumb account are reached by email from Gumb.

We use this system in our aid organisation and at work. We are very happy with it, as we had been looking for a working and reliable system for a long time. The app offers many options, including staff and equipment management, and above all makes our work easier. Simply recommendable. A clear 5-star rating
Great app, works even for very large clubs. Highly recommended.

FAQ: the app for nonprofits
How do I plan recurring activities such as a community lunch?
Set up the activity as a recurring event, weekly or custom. Volunteers sign up with one click, and in the scheduler you see which dates are still open.
How do I hand out single visits or rides?
Create tasks such as “Visit” or “Driving service” and turn them on for the event. Volunteers sign up themselves, or admins assign them. Everyone sees who takes on what.
Who sees volunteers' personal data?
Members decide in their settings which admins can access their profile. Group events are only visible to that group.
Can volunteers be asked why they cancel?
Yes. Under “Answers” in the community settings you require a comment for cancellations.
How do I document the volunteer work done?
In Statistics you download the attendance report as an Excel file, one row per person and activity, filterable by period, event type and project.
Can I reach partners without a Gumb account?
Yes. From the web app, admins and group leaders write emails with attachments to up to 100 external addresses.
Can several sites work under one subscription?
Yes. Every site gets its own group scheduler, up to 20 on the Pro plan. Several independent communities with their own main calendar come with the Premium plan.
