No. Gumb is not an app for pro league scores or live tickers but an app for running ice hockey clubs and teams: plan ice times, games and tournaments, see responses and analyze attendance.
How do I plan early ice times so I know in time who is coming?
Set up the ice times as recurring events with a response deadline, for example the evening before. Up to two reminders per event make sure nobody forgets to respond.
How does everyone find out when an ice time is moved?
You edit the event, and Gumb asks whether notifications should be sent. Push notifications arrive even when the app is closed.
How do I set the squad for game day?
Give every player in the lineup a star. Admins set it as a call-up and the player sees it, and in the notification settings you can remind only the squad.
How do parents respond for their child in the youth section?
Every child needs their own account with their own email address. Parents log into their child's account with the same credentials and respond for ice times and games. Admins can create children's accounts upfront, and a shared family login is in the works.
How do I regroup players for the new season?
With the member matrix you assign players to new teams by ticking boxes, and every change is saved right away. The matrix is part of the Premium plans.
Is the J+S export available for ice hockey clubs too?
Yes. The J+S export contains columns such as first name, last name, date of birth, date and attendance status, as XLSX or CSV for the NDS import. You add the AHV number in the prepared column.
